Yellow discolouration on vinyl

Hi all! We have. 2021 21C. We have just noticed a yellow discolouration on the vinyl wall. It is next to the emergency exit window in the dinette area. No where else. It won’t wipe off. There is no signs of any water damage or leakage.
Any thoughts as to what it is?
I’m not sure how to post image on this site.

I'd contact the factory in Chilliwack.

If you are going to the Rally in May or June I would have ETI look at it.

ETI uses a spray adhesive. Perhaps it's a bit of overspray that in time becomes more visible as it yellows.

Try a photo. There're very handy at showing what a problem looks like and makes it easier for folks to help out with it.

I hope I did this right. Here are some photos.
The top photo is rotated. The stains are to the left of the emergency window
There are also about 3 similar but much smaller spots forming. All in the same area.

That looks bad. I would definitely contact Escape about that. You’ll get a million opinions here on this forum, but since it’s a brand new trailer, Escape should be footing the bill for an assessment and repair of the problem. Good luck, let us know how Escape handles this. As a future buyer of a 5.0, customer service is very important to me.

Good job on posting photos for the first time. It is handy for folks to actually see the problem under discussion.

In this case I'm not sure if it's adhesive overspray or not. The pattern is consistent with that but there appears to be something else going on. The other smaller areas almost look like something corrosive has damaged the vinyl. Perhaps an attempt was made to clean the vinyl.

Hopefully ETI will be able to not only say what they think it is but deal with it for you.

Sorry that you're having problems. At least you are close to the factory to get it looked after. This sort of thing is what worries me when I get my trailer and I'm 5000 km away!

Could sunlight have somehow been focused into that spot from an object outside?

Thanks for everyone’s input. What worries me is that there are several smaller spots forming in the same area. I don’t think it is sunlight as some of the spots would have been covered with the cushions in the summertime and then I pulled all the cushions away during winter and we certainly don’t get much sun here through the winter. We have used no cleaner on the vinyl anywhere on the trailer… no need to as it is virtually brand new!
I’ve researched and I have found some info that certain adhesives can do this.
I emailed Dustin at ETI and wasn’t too happy with response. Told me he thought was a leak and that I should check the sealants on the rear camera light and rear taillights. I did and the sealants look fine (which I hope they would on a 10 month old trailer).
I’m going to f/u with him this week, as I’m hoping they are going to help me figure this out!

Thought I would post and give some f/u on our situation. I was able to talk to Dave at ETI and he was extremely helpful. Luckily we live quite close to the factory so we were able to have them assess. ETI has no idea what the cause was as there was nothing wrong behind the vinyl. They didn’t think due to adhesives and definitely no leaks. For now , they think it could have been something that discoloured from the outside or a ‘bad lot of vinyl’. He said this is the first time they’’ve seen anything like this. They replaced the area under warranty and really feel that it was an isolated issue. We will obviously be monitoring in other areas but there is no sign of anything any where else.
Overall, it was disappointing that this happened and a bit disconcerting that no definite cause was found but we felt really looked after by Dave at ETI.

Nice to have it fixed and that it id not due to water infiltration.
I'm not sure how issues like this get resolved when 5,000 km from Chilliwack!

Looks like I have a similar issue with our 2021 17B received in September. We store the trailer indoors so I wouldn't think it would be water damage but I pulled the MaxFan just in case and there's no sign of leakage.
