5th wheel vs bumper pull

Going from a 22' NASH to our 5.0 we gained over 100 miles per tank. Pickup aerodynamics with most any bumper pull don't exist, it's like pulling a barn door into the wind.

trailer levelling

Peter,
As much as possible you want to level the unit with both axles so they take the load equally. The stabilizer jacks are just that, stabilizers, not jacks.

Made the same passage July 23rd in our new 5.0TA & camped @ last chance campground about two miles up Goose ceek. Great little spot with hiking, biking & huckleberry picking right from camp.

Exchange rates

After sending our deposit through wire transfer & paying fees @ both ends minus the unfavorable bank exchange rate of $1.275, We've used OFX money transfer. No fees & the rate is better than a bank...

Depending on time & the route you choose, Great Basin National Park is a must see, & US 50 offers some awesome sights on the loneliest road in America.
