Mine was very tight, but eventually loosened off, no WD needed. All nice and clean now.

Maxxfan cleanup ?

Our Maxxfan has a buildup on the inside of the plastic cover that moves up and down, above the fan.
I’ve removed the screen, and lower shroud/circuit board.
The fan blades are cleaned and nice...
