Has anyone found a real showerhead that would fit this blue hose that comes with the outside Fossett. I don’t think they’re the same screw size.

looks like all you need is a male quick connect and your shower hose from inside, picture taken from Casita website

Good idea. I was trying to find a shower head that would fit the end of the blue hose that came with our Escape blue hose. I didn’t want to use the handheld spray nozzle that came with that. And it’s fixture is like one that fits a garden hose. Now where do I find that size quick connect To fit the RV indoor shower hose and showerhead?

I was about to ask the same question. I'd rather have a regular handheld shower head than a garden nozzle.
I can make an adapter but if I can buy one then I will.

Looking back on the posts from the beginning I see that pre 2016 the opening was a larger rectangle and the typical handheld shower was provided and fit into the box.
Going to search the RV parts places and see if any offer anything suitable.

How about a water breaker nozzle? Connects right to garden hose fitting and provides a nice shower spay.

I know Etrailer sells a gooseneck adapter with regular pipe threads. If you search this forum for “Flexspout from etrailer.com “ you will see a link to the flexspout. Etrailer also sells the quick connector by itself but it is garden hose threads. A lot of people put a plastic ball valve in the fitting between the gooseneck and the quick connect. Here is a picture of the gooseneck.

Would need to know what size that connector is. Saw one at Rv store but shower hose tube end was not a screw on.

Actually it was a screw on just too small.

I have never seen anything bot the coiled hose with the garden hose fitting on the end, but the spout has pipe threads that may be adapted to a shower hose. Unfortunately you may have to buy the flexible spout to get the fitting.

With the proper adapter(s) from Lowe’s/HD/Menards/Ace Hardware or probably Home Hardware in Canada you can put a real shower head on the ETI provided outdoor shower hose. And you can buy a shower head holder that attaches via suction cup.

I found an Escape size shower head to replace the full size one that I had temporarily fitted to the adapter that I made. The RV place had stud fittings the same as are on the blue coiled hose.
I wanted to retain the blue hose for use with the nozzle but buying the stud would allow for a regular residential shower hose and shower head to be used.

I'm having my shower placed on the drivers side, to wash sand off of the kayak, mud off boots, etc. Don't want that mess around the entry area. I'll be carrying a garden hose for use when connected to campground water, but for boondocking (or when warm water on sandy feet would be nice), the exterior shower will be a great advantage.

And I use a hose holder to hold the shower head like the one Ron has. Works well and holds fast. Just clean the trailer's surface first. Perfect for rinsing stuff or even taking a shower, with appropriate modesty, of course.

We just sent in our build sheet for an Escape 19. We had outside showers put on both sides. Why you ask? We currently have a Casita with an outside shower on the driver’s side which we have used when boondocking. But after much discussion and looking at this forum, we decided to get a external shower on both sides as we envision the benefits previously mentioned in this thread of having one on the passenger side also. Escape had no problem with this.

After doing some extensive searching for a proper outdoor shower set up for our 17b I found some stuff that may work.
It seems that the garden hose to shower head fittings is an odd adapter. I was consistently confusing myself with the male and female ends and the 3/4 and 1/2 inch...
As we have the newer style shower with the "hose gun" which is very awkward to actually use as a shower, this is my plan.
Use the existing blue hose with this adapter https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Then I "think" I can attach the shower hose and head from inside to that adapter.
I'm going to use https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/tisken-...hite-50400307/
This to get the shower up on the trailer side.
I'm working on a privacy curtain that attaches with the suction hooks, but that's a bit later.
We also bought these to go on the ground for a better flooring option. We've been previously standing on the floor mats of the truck, which while it works perfectly, it's nice to make things look nice. https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/runnen-...ined-90234226/
