I'm with Donna. The fact that we can open a window to let in air (not to mention the light) was the reason we went with both the opening kitchen and bathroom window ... and we haven't been sorry one minute. While we're camping (even in rainy weather), we have the kitchen/counter window open a bit as well as the Maxx Fan (manual operation). That way, we always have air going in and out (also found it helps with the CO2 detector as it was always going off when we had the place buttoned up tight and people breathing ... ha). And flushing out the black water tank is certainly aided by bringing that hose in through the window. Everyone has their own style, but I'd rather be saying, "Gosh, we probably didn't need ____" rather than "Dang, I should have gotten _____".
