Yup, we're fine, Pat, thanks. All my gutters are clean, leaves were raked up. Ventura County Flood control cleaned all the drainage ditches, etc. (as usual) throughout the county, so we're good to go. Rain started at 0610 hrs, 0.55" as of 1010 hrs. We're due for 1/2" per hour after lunch.

And the rest of you, quit grimacing! We've had 4" in the last year, so this is a big deal for us.

I never eat brats without a good helping of poutine to compliment them.

I'm bringing Scrapple to the rally as well as some jalapeno Spam, we will have to have a tasting contest one morning to see who has cardiac arrest first......oh, and some KickAss coffee to wash it down, cooked "cowboy" style.

Edit: update--
4:30 pm - We're at 1.35". Heck, We even made the weather channel (although they mis-pronounced Camarillo, It's Cam- ar-E-o.)

And at about noon we had a 2.7 earthquake about 15 miles away. Didn't feel it, though!

Amen to the rain. I'm in Cupertino this week and the folks here are thrilled with a little wet stuff. Its been too long.
