Evacuation Update:
We returned to our cabin after spending two nights at Rainbow Campground at Big Lake, AZ. They seem to indicate that our area is protected now and they're getting a handle on the fire.
Coming through the White Apache reservation on the way home there was still quite a bit of smoke, but as we neared Show Low, AZ it had cleared up and is a beautiful day here.
Big thanks to all the fire fighters and emergency responders who successfully responded to the Cedar Creek Fire. I'm sure they will complete the job shortly, but it looks like they saved a number of small AZ cities this week.

Hi Gregg glad your home safe and sound . About the same time here in California near Santa Barbara which is now about 45 % contained burning over 7500 acres called Sherpa fire . Fires are sure scarey . Glad you had your trailer and all,is well . Pat

June 24 Sherpa FIre update

As of 0815 hrs June 24, the Sherpa Fire in Coastal Santa Barbara County is 93% contained; the uncontained fire lines are in the NE portion in steep, dangerous terrain. Part of Refugio Canyon is still under mandatory evacuation,
but:
Refugio State Beach is now scheduled to re-open to the public on Saturday, June 25.
