Is the Miracle Mat waterproof on the backside? I'm not as concerned about my 5er... it will have the standard vinyl floor. But, I may want to purchase one for my Scamp which has carpet . I still have several campouts planned with my Scamp and am still very concerned about taking care at the door area. IF I like the Miracle Mat... it would find a new home in the 5er. Inquiring minds want to know...

Very colorful, looks like a stained glass window.

Ohh... I wish I had known when we met up to exchange the BAL. I gave mine to Goodwill. Yes it collects water like crazy but when we tried to clean it and get the water back out of it , nearly impossible. We must have had it on the deck in the heat last summer for 5 days and we just couldn't get it dried out. Maybe it was just us and we couldn't figure how to use it. We went back to our boot tray. It collects the water and we just empty it and the dirt. It appears others have had better luck. IF I still had it you would have had it.

How kind of you! Nice thought. I'm still plotting and planning. Nothing written in stone for inside. I typically wear slippers inside my trailer AND my home. But, when camping it's not usual for me to wear shoes inside/outside/inside/outside. I'm REALLY not into kicking off shoes just to pop in for a few...

It is waterproof on the back. Takes a while to dry after washing, but not all that long. I really appreciate the fact that is does not curl up on the corners like our first mat did.
