I used the Dri deck tiles. used for boat decks, showers and any wet location. I chose them because I wanted the floor raised as little as possible.

Hi Alf
https://www.google.com/search?q=thre...zDcWcqOog,st:0

I like to shower in the Eacape. However it’s a little too small for me to attain full volume when I am adding my powerful baritone to these tenors. They just need a little backup and I can’t get my arms fully extended.
Headed out for four days today.

One measurement not mentioned yet on the teak mats is the thickness. At 6’ 3” I don’t have an inch to spare hitting my head. We use a thin carpet mat for day to day and remove for showering. Like others, a quick wipe down after with a microfiber towel seems to do the trick.

Some of us don’t have that problem though. Haha. It would take a “couple” teak mats stacked on top of each other to put us in danger of banging our heads on the ceiling.

Hi: Jwinfrey... We use a dolla' store bathtub mat on the floor. Some folks put a plastic garbage bag over the toilet to speed dry ups. Alf

At 5' 9" and shrinking I'm not vertically challenged. A friend of mine, at 6' 6" claims height is only good anymore at parades and football games.

Enjoy,

Perry

Thanks, Mike! I remembered the “Code” used by your Mom and Aunts, and chuckle every time I hear it used! I love that kind of humor!

The UltraMax Ultra Low Flow Shower Head by Bricor has 0.625 GPM flow rate, although I haven't used it myself.

We got and recommend this Oxygenics showeredhead from Camping World https://www.campingworld.com/bodyspa...te-112391.html We are impressed at how much it helps to conserve water.

However, I did not like the push button valve and how much it let the water dribble out on the pause mode because when you dry camp....every drop matters! So I switched the button valve out with a complete shower shut off valve like this https://www.amazon.ca/GORDEE-Handhel...%2C149&sr=8-21 Much better! No more fear of wasting precious drops. I also feel like I don't need to rush as much....more relaxed now.

However, when you turn the shut off valve back on, it can be a little cold so just hold the nozzle away from you for a second and it heats back up really quick. We love and take showers almost every night. And yes, a little squeegee keeps it nice, clean and dry. Easy peasy. -Bea

Have you measured the water wasted doing this compared to the dribble of water that is used to maintain flow?

Methinks you take longer to lather up than Glenn. (Not insinuating anything)

I sense that some people use campground showers but I've always preferred using my own facilities and hope to do the same with our E19.
So, do you stand or sit? Door open or closed? Quick rinse or full blown hose down? Do you wipe down the shower after to get rid of moisture?
Maybe you use the outdoor shower instead?

Inquiring minds want to know!
Just close the toilet seat…😂

For reducing the flow of the stock shower head I cut a perfectly circular piece of high quality foil tape (the type used to seal duct work) and covered the smallest circle of perforations (where the water comes out). Clean the shower head first with alcohol to promote adhesion and carefully work the tape in with your fingernail. This reduces the flow considerably, but there is still adequate water IMO. You can get more or less aggressive about how many perforations you cover, and how much flow you get. The tape has been on there for years and has not loosened.

In my 2020 Escape 19 I can stand in the shower. I'm 6' tall

We have a bamboo floor mat that we actually remove when showering. We also remove the wastebasket.

Enter shower and close the door, pull the shower curtain. Make sure toilet paper doesn't have a tail hanging out of the dispenser. Make sure vent is open and vent fan is on

Take a 'Navy Shower'

Put washcloth in sink and close stopper

Turn on shower at the sink

Wet hair

Turn off water with button on showerhead

Shampoo hair

Turn on water with button on showerhead

Rinse hair, quick spin to wet body

Turn off water with button on showerhead

Add conditioner to hair

Using a washcloth and water in sink (button on shower head still leave a dribble to keep scalding hot water from accumulating in the hose to the showerhead and should have been filling the sink a bit) wash your entire body, wet the washcloth regularly in the sink

Turn on water with button on showerhead

Rinse hair, body, and shower

Turn off water at the sink

Open shower curtain and door / Dry off with towel (these two can be reversed)

Last person the shower takes the washcloth and wipes down everything in the shower including the toilet, and the floor. Ring excess water from washcloth regularly. We only use the washcloth for one set of showers, and it is white and gets bleached when washed.

Put dry floor mat and wastebasket back in shower. We replaced the shower curtain with a cloth one so we normally leave it over unbunched for the the night or day so it can dry.

This is the mat we use

Bamboo Bath Mat for Bathroom, Shower and Outdoor - Grey Coated, Padded, Foldable Wood Bathmat (Length 24"x16" Width, Gray)

This is the shower curtain we use
CAROMIO Stall Shower Curtain 32 Inch, Flax Linen Like 240GSM Heavy Weight Fabric Shower Curtain for Bathroom with Hooks Hotel Luxury Washable, Grey, 32x72 Inch
