Nice fit, better then my Calmark. Depending on the $ it looks to be a good option for other cover shopping.

After getting several bids from local boat canvas shops I went with Alfredo’s Upholstery in Chula Vista, CA. This was definitely an expensive investment to protect my Escape. After going through two medium priced covers since 2015, I just decided to spend the $$$$ and get a cover that should last for many years to come. Not something everyone can/would do, but I’m very happy I did. There is a patch of chafe guard material sewn onto the Sunbrella at the solar panel to avoid the sharp edges tearing the fabric. Plastic snap on corner protectors for the solar panel can be purchased online or Home Depot. The bids I got from local canvas shops to make me a custom cover using Marine Grade Sunbrella ranged from $2000 to almost $6000. I went with the lowest bid.

Very nice, I'm especially envious of the dedicated access door since in the off season I'm still going in and out frequently and the roll up the big flap each time gets to be a nuisance.

Given the number of yards of Sunbrella required at around $2000 that's pretty reasonable. I've had marine canvas places use Sunbrella for my boat bimini etc. and the cost was much more.

Thanks for your feedback Ron. After securing a number of bids, I actually found myself relieved to find someone who was willing to make it for $2000. Anyway, I'd recommend Alfredo's to anyone who is looking to have a premium custom cover made. The turn around was three weeks, but only because he had other jobs in front of mine. Once he started working on it; the job was completed in 3 days. I was invited to swing by the shop whenever I liked to see how things were progressing.

Nice looking cover. My own $250 cover has lasted for 5 years now with very little signs of wear. Probably has another 5 years of life in it. Considering the cost and durability of my existing cover, for $2000, I could have purchased 8 covers and had a supply that would last me for 80 years.

Very cool! Who made your cover? Unfortunately, I had no such luck with the two covers I had prior, and each one cost more than $250.
