Care to speculate?

Washed the trailer after a long, wet winter. I'll have to go at it again next time the rain clouds break.
Anyway, found this stain on the front, driver-side of the trailer. I tried Turtle Wax Bug 'n' Tar to no avail. Next I'll use my 3M Marine Restorer.
But, meantime, any guesses as to what could have caused this? My immediate thought was that the neighbour sprayed moss killer, but I would think that would be a finer, less distinct pattern.
Over to you.

Nope. That is the sunny side of the trailer when parked in the driveway. Stain wasn't there when I parked it.

Guy next door can't afford a lawn company after spending way too much money on house reno. I don't pay my guys to encourage the lawn to grow, only to cut it. It's just at the front of the trailer on one side.

Glenn,
Having little info other than the color to go on, I would give vinegar a shot. (Or give it a shot of vinegar, depending on your mind-set!)

Will do. Try anything, but first, I need a beer.

Some types of mold will grow in the sun if moisture is present.

If you can't get the stains off, there are some acid based gel coat cleaners (available at most marinas) that would likely remove the stains, but follow the instructions carefully and rinse with plenty of water, followed by a coat of wax on the treated area.

Get some "30 Second Outdoor Cleaner" at Lowes or Home Depot. Did the trick on my 19' last Spring. Works great ( which means using it might shave a few weeks off your life; small price to pay for convience I say.

If the beer doesn't work, and it probably won't because you won't want to use up too much , try oxalic acid. It's cheap and works well on f.g. stains especially things like rust stains.

I use a marine f.g. stain remover that's great for all stains, especially the black streaks. FSR for, you guessed it, Fiberglass Stain Remover.

I actually do have a gallon of 30 Seconds on hand. And, a beer in my other hand.
I will report when I 'git 'er done'.

For bug removal don't waste money and time with commercially perfumed removers and solvents or beer. It's right in your medicine cabinet. Use Hydrogen Peroxide. Even if they're been dried on the shell for weeks this stuff is Instant bug remover.

Oops, sorry. That ain't from no BC bug.
