CalMark Covers come with a drawstring arrangement around the bottom, enabling one to make a snug fit. What I discovered was that doing so created a number of pockets that enabled water to pool after it had seeped through after a rain (which it will do). Left too long, that pooled water was starting a little algae collection, so I discontinuing using the drawstring. I just use the two straps, and the cover billows around a little in windy conditions, but it stays on alright.

I started using a belly band (daisy chain of tie down straps, non ratchet style) all the way around my last trailer, took care of all the billowing. Padded the corners.

We were finally able to wash, wax, and put the new cover on our Escape Plan today. You may recall we purchase the Elite deluxe cover as a temporary measure against some jerk neighbors who won't turn down their sprinklers (they were renters and moved out last week ). We don't plan on keeping the trailer covered so didn't want to invest in a Calmark cover and this embed like a good temporary and relatively inexpensive option. This cover is a generic one and is far too large for our Escape (too wide, too long, and too tall) and I wouldn't recommend it. It also seems quite flimsy and I doubt it will hold up for long. If you're interested in a cover for the long term, avoid this one. I'll be putting it on craigslist unless anyone here wants an Elite Motors Deluxe Escape Cover for cheap!

OMG you're right! We'll have to keep the cover just to prevent that from happening! All joking aside, I hope my mother gets nice neighbors.
