12 years and I have yet to leave a trickle charger on my batteries, they go through freezing temps often come winter, and I've never had a battery go bad. 8 years on my Starcraft's 2 12v Interstates, and so far 4 years on the 6's. There are many roads one can take to long battery life.

I'm not going to worry about the batteries. IF/when they die, I'll replace. My trailer is not at home, no possibility for a trickle charge and I can't lift them out of the battery box anyway. Freedom means only worrying about things that are worth it. Knowing my limitations, etc. and then following through is liberating.

Eric we never ordered the switch either . But at least back then I think Escape put them in if you ordered the dual 6 's . Pat

So only with the dual 6's apparently. I had thought it was just standard on all of them by that time - guess not. Thanks for the clarification.
