I find I do use the camera all the time on the highway. I glance at it the same way I use the rearview mirror when the trailer is not there....

By CFCI I assume you mean a GFCI receptacle. The GFCI is Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter. These trip when the return current flowing through the neutral doesn't equal the curent...

I looked at the mirrors on the link - how do you get them out far enough to see behind the trailer?

Our backup camera is permamentally mounted on the trailer...
