When I was an inspector we were to call out the bonded sub panels.
The panels have a floating terminal strip to keep the ground and neutrals separate.

Thanks for that information. I was unaware that the little generators were not bonded ground to neutral. I do know that building codes do not want sub panels bonded. Just the main service...
