Sorry Jim, but I live on the east coast and I find OTA almost everywhere, but find cable in very few private campgrounds. It is out west that OTA signal may be scarce. Not sure what world you are...

Less than 25% of campgrounds having cable hook-ups has been my experience, also. And of the few that do, a good percentage of them have cable reception that is marginal at best.

Jim, I know you generally stop at KOAs and most have cable. We personally avoid KOAs because we prefer not to "Kamp on Asphalt" or have to listen to the screaming and yelling of "Kids of America."...
