Your Honda 2000 generator will run it if you turn the battery disconnect switch to off, so the power goes only to the AC. We have verified this after being instructed to do it by Reace.

Yes, we have to turn off the power protection when running on generator. Elsewhere on this forum is information on a device that can be built to fool the protection into working with the generator....
