No, you don't need to reach over one burner to get to the other. You come in from the side. It is certainly no different than a four-burner stove in your sticks and bricks.

My suggestion is to turn the two-burner stove from horizontal to vertical. I love the way mine turned out and really did increase the counter space which is at a premium.

ETI will have to pay duty on the fabric if shipped directly. I think it cost D&K about $40 in duty. I took my fabric up with me when I visited ETI in April.
