dewinterize ???

So we started on our big adventure after receiving our 21ne 2 weeks ago. We haven't filled the water tank yet as we're still in a cold climate.

My question is this--since the trailer came winterized with some air and anti-freeze in the lines from ETI, what do we need to do to flush it before we fill our tank?

First confirm that Escape used antifreeze in the fresh water lines! They certainly used it in drains. You also need to know how to switch the water heater lines to fill the tank before the turning it on.

First thing you should do is read the manuals. Then make a binder to keep all that information.

Hi my wife and I are from the Cape with a 16 Escape 21. I am sure that you are good to go on vacation. Run everything when you hook up to water. But make sure you take two gallons of RV antifreeze on the trip with you. You will want to winterize your trailer again, before coming back to Ma. If you are coming back during the winther. It is easy, and only takes 10 minutes. Steve

If you use rv antifreeze, it takes a while to get it completely out of the lines. If you normally drink the water from the lines, it helps to use a Y at the water source and pull water from outside until water is fully flushed inside.
