Re: First Pictures of Our New 17B
Yay - we are official members of the club of Escape owners. The temporary (?) name of our 17B is "Blue" for her Cascade Blue graphics - really inventive, eh?
We are in the Cottonwood Meadows RV "Country Club" (quite a stretch there!) trying everything out and loading everything the was first in the Scamp, then in the pickup, and now in "Blue".
It was a busy day at Escape with 2 others Escapes besides ours being picked up. Reace and Tammy were great and "Blue" is so very cool. As Reace and I talked and he showed me around the assembly building, I was impressed by how much he wants owners to be satisfied with their Escapes.
Cheesehead/Badger contingent - you will be happy to know that I brought along six different bottles of my various homebrews for Tammy and Reace. (Unfortunately since they were the last of the homebrews I brought along on the trip, I then had to go to a BC liquor store where a six pack of decent beer was about $14!!)

Re: First Pictures of Our New 17B
Command Z doesn't work. Tried to split the topic and all I did was mess up the thread. Sorry.

Re: First Pictures of Our New 17B
Ok - lots to tell, but not much time -- so NO BEER TALK so this doesn't get split again!
We are headed back East after being drenched nearly all day everyday in the Olympic National Park. While I have a WiFi in an RV place right next to I90 here are a couple more pictures.
First is the "Scaper" (second attempt at a name. "Blue" didn't stick and since we both keep starting to say Scamp this one at least starts with the same syllable - we will see...) getting a ferry ride to Port Townshend and the second is in the VERY wet Mora campground in Olympic National Park. We have finally outrun the rain in Ellenburg, WA - but the clouds are following close on our heels.

Re: First Pictures of Our New 17B
Hard to break old habits. I still find myself calling Toad "the tent trailer" after two years.
Looks like "Baby" to me.

Re: First Pictures of Our New 17B
What year is that beauty of a Merc pickup? '59? Takes me back to my days of working in service departments in Edmonton . . . Is it fitted out to go jaunting with the Toad, or do you cherish it for show appearances only?

Re: First Pictures of Our New 17B
It's not mine. I spotted it at an RV park in Salmon Arm.
Only talked to the owner briefly and I mean briefly.
