Robert, I see where you are going to be off the interstates a lot. That is where you really get to see small town America. A lot of our problem is being on time constraints, you just have to blow through on the main drags. Going up to Chilliwack last fall we did over 2000 miles in 2 1/2 days. Kind of a drag. But having a lot of time to get home made up for it. Enjoy. Loren

We got our week 2 photos on Wed. this week. Will have to ask ETI about the plastic and wet signs on the rear.

Here is one more.
By the way, hint for US buyers--don't use Registered Mail to send your check to ETI. Our cashiers check has been traveling almost 3 weeks to get from the Seattle area to Chilliwack. We will soon have to stop payment if it doesn't arrive. Last we heard it had traveled from New York to Japan. The P.O. claims it is in B.C. but we will see next week when ETI reopens after the holiday.

I got lucky - sent my check regular mail from Cleveland, OH and it got there in about a week.

Hi: Snadry... About the wet area... I'd guess wet sanding in progress. It brings on the shine and causes the camera lens to spot up on the close up shots too!!!
You have to remember that the major portion of extra charges for "Registered Mail" is for "Storage".Alf

Hmm, don't think so on the sanding. Looks like they sprayed/touched up the gel coat there. You can see the white over spray on the plastic.

I was number 10 for the new build 5.0TA. Some of the pictures I received from Crystal... weren't pretty. Lots of tape, dusty and plastic drapped everywhere (I didn't post those pics). But you know what? The finished product I received was exactly the stellar build I expected from ETI. HAPPY, HAPPPY.. still.
Don't sweat it.. you'll get what you expect, honest.

I totally agree Donna. My comment was just that I didn't think it was wet sanding going on. Whatever it was, it will be done with craftsmanship.

It's a work in progress and the cake isn't fully baked yet. I'm sure you'll love the finished product. ETI does great work.

That seems like a good guess to me.
I own a Boler (also moulded fiberglass) and have been looking at Escapes for almost a decade. One detail that I noticed is that where the seam between upper and lower shells meets the door opening in the Boler there is an awkward joint, but at the equivalent location on an Escape there is a seamless gelcoat finish as if the whole shell was one piece. This is achieved by including a moulded fiberglass inner door frame, and hand-finishing the joint at the door on the outside (the rest of the joint is covered by the encircling trim piece). I think this finishing work is an example of ETI's approach, and a reason to choose an Escape.

I think there are more than 4... At least 3 on the east side, and 3 on the west side, if everyone still have their trailer since I last met/chatted with them.
I can't wait to update the owner map.

Don't beat yourself up Donna!
I could be wrong. I just figured there are at least 4 owners active on this forum, and none of you had showed us your trailer when we toured the 17' and 19', it adds up to 6. People do move around more often these days.

Ten Forward is always open for tours.. but, you need to be interested in a 5th wheel... exactly the same from the door back to a 21' EXCEPT the bathroom.. 5ers get a pantry AND a closet
