It looks like an interesting place to visit. Resturant on site, lots of kids activities, close to the Adirondocks.
Just a bit under six hours drive for you Jim, check it out.

Six of them are located near Fayetteville - Manlius. The fact that there are two bodies of water in these lakes and they do not mix, gives them this astonishing blue-green color The camping sites are nicely laid out. Plus it's closer to you than Lake George by about 75 miles. Second image: Very rare living freshwater reef @ 9,000 years old. Hiking trails around the lake.

Very interesting. We're thinking of making a trip or two to upstate NY, maybe in the Spring.
I had to look up 'meromictic' lakes. I hope a Green Lake layer is not holding a quantity of CO2 like the one that erupted in the meromictic Lake Nyos in Cameroon and filled its valley and killed over a thousand people by essentially suffocating them (it's heavier than normal air):

There are numerous things to fear in this world we live in. Death by CO2 asphyxiation at Green Lake is not one of them.

White Haven, Pa, seems like you are maybe 2 hours from us here in Pennsylvania, the Escape world is spreading, once we were the only owners this side of the Mississippi, now we have company, it is nice.....

Yes. Jim, we talked back in 2017 when we were about to pickup our 2017 19' unit in Sumas.
We're close to Hickory Run SP, a worthwhile camping spot. Check out Boulder Field...

Maybe invite the other molded-fiberglass-brand owners, and get more hands involved?

And while you are at Green Lake State Park, make the 11 mile drive to Chittenango Falls, my favorite waterfall. The falls is also a state park, but no camping. Your pass for Green Lake gets you into the falls for free.
