You will also have to pay somebody to mount your tires on those rims and balance them. Presumably that cost will be in US dollars.

Right. But again, if one was concerned about the price from ETI, I'm just pointing out they could always get them afterward. My tire guy charges $10 per wheel to swap rims, so price wise it's not that much savings.

I'm lucky. I looked out the window one day and realized that I like my white steel wheels more than aluminum.

Not to sidetrack this into a wheel thread, but the steel wheels are fine. I would however have to do something about those plastic hub covers and their tendency to turn yellow. Krylon Fusion perhaps?

Good thought. I have a couple cans of Dover White left over from painting the propane tanks cover, but would that match the wheel?

Probably not. I'm thinking the Dover White is slightly darker. A better match might be the gloss white.

In the fwiw category.
I bought one of the rims in spring 2017 off Amazon, $78 & $14 S&H, = $92
It is now priced at $92 with FREE shipping.

Does ETI balance tires?

Does ETI balance their trailer tires? Some manufacturers do not. Curious to know.

Yes they are balanced. See the website under any trailer go to “Features” then under Chassis you will see the tire size followed by “balanced”.

Price change. 21’
Item November December
Base unit $32,450 $33,650
Microwave $110 $130
Exterior shower $150 $165
Inverter 1 outlet $650 $750
Inverter all outlets $950 $1,050
Surge protector $350 $400
A/C $1,100 $1,225
Stereo $375 $410
Backup camera $400 $510
Extra insul. + thermal windows $1,500 $1,650
Bathroom window $300 $325
Aluminum rims $475 $750
High lift axel $350 $390
These prices are only for the items shown
on the on-line cost estimator. Whether there
are additional separate charges added for tariffs that show on
the bottom of the Build Sheet , but not on the
on-line cost estimator, I do not know.
Some of these increases you could clearly point to tariffs some to normal and expected, price increases (inflation) and some perhaps to making an item more profitable.

Aluminum rims
If you live near the ocean the ETI aluminum rims will rust. Mine look terrible now despite trying to rehab them. Am going to a galvanized spoke rim next tire change.

They do Yellow out for sure. At the Mississippi River Rendezvous. a fine young gentleman donated four brand new white ones for the free tarp as he had purchased the plastic “chrome” jobs for his rig. They were quickly snapped up. All my tire and rim combos are balanced. The guys at my shop put tape backed weights on the backside of the wheels. Doesn’t garf up the rim and seems to run out fine. I think those plastic chromie lug nut
covers are about $20 each. But hey, it costs money to go racin’. How about a chrome paint job on the plastic yellow ones? About $5.
