Ours is due Sept. 14. Is it possible for something to be fun and daunting at the same time? I speak of the build sheet, of course.

Ours got a cancellation slot and we suddenly had 2 weeks to finish the sheet when we thought we were 6 months out! Crazy couple of weeks, especially when the first thing ETI wants is the custom fabric.

Welcome Mary. Good to see another Escape headed for Texas. ETI might have to open a branch office here.
The Escape build sheet is a little bit of a challenge. Just alot more options than some other brands - not to mention your customizations that arent on the standard option sheet. We flip-flopped back and forth on several of the options before finally settling on a final version. Lucky for you, you've got plenty of time.

Pretty much what happen to us. So I think the moral of the story is: treat the build list as if you have to submit it in the next couple of weeks. Make some decisions sooner than later to prepare for the possibility of an earlier production date.

You're so right Ron, I'm going to try to have my build sheet completed by next week just in case I get another E-mail.

escape built time line
So there is hope that if ordered you can get it sooner . We are on the fence with a 5.0T/A We saw Alf's Escape yesterday and lost the Florida one by a day or so . The exchange rate is very favorable right now for buying new VS. used . Jim

When I put my original order for a 19 in December 2014 I had a ten month build date. I called ETI and told them that I would be ready to jump if they had an earlier opening. I put in my build sheet and a large deposit. A few weeks later ETI called with an opening in April 2015, which I gladly took. Shortly after that ETI posted a new 21 for immediate sale on the forum. I jumped on that and my 21 has been waiting for me to pick it up for several weeks now. There is definitely hope for an earlier build!

What's holding you back?
No chance of snow around here.

Just ignore those folks posting about road trips who are RETIRED! Those of us that are still working for wages have to schedule time off (unless we can get away with saying we have the flu... for days/weeks)

Glenn, every day is Saturday for you retired folks. You don't have:
MOANday
Tuesday (PAYday for me.. we call Tuesday Dollar Day!)
Hump day (Mike, Mike, Mike)
Friday Eve
Friday (TGIF)
Two days off... DON'T call/email me... GIANT IGNORE. And then we start over with MOANday.

Many years ago one of my sisters asked my Dad, "There's Mother's Day and there's Father's Day, so why is there no Kid's Day?"
The answer: " Every day is Kid's Day".
Right... "no days off"....
