Why no driver's side exterior pictures for any of the trailers?
Unless I missed something very obvious, I just noticed there is no picture of the driver's side exterior for any of the trailers. The driver's side exterior is obviously not a flip side of the passenger side and shows useful information like location and size of the windows, hatch(es), water heater, furnace, fridge etc.

Thanks Scott
This is one way that unnecessarily hiding information backfires on the company doing it: potential customers grab copies of it and share it, which later means that obsolete information is circulating in a more accessible form than the up-to-date version. Have any of the option prices just changed? Too bad, we're all looking at the originals...

If you click and hold the button in the middle of the slider, you can slide it left and right to reveal your choice of two views of the the trailer... but the only difference appears to be the colour of the graphics. This type of feature is usually used for historical and current views of scene, or perhaps two significantly different variants of a product.
I agree that in this case, it might be useful to have one base version, and the other with every visible option (air conditioning, alloy wheels, frameless windows, front box...).

It could be a frame modification; it could be nothing at all other than a decision to endorse use of the trailer at a higher gross weight.

That combined axle capacity is already far higher than needed for a 5500 pound GVWR, so the axles are not relevant to this change... if the GVWR did actually change.

Publishing correct and consistent specs does seem to have been a challenge for Escape, historically; it was a real mess during the transition to the current generation. This may be true of other small manufacturers, as well.

Customer perceptions and the resulting marketing issues are certainly a factor in setting some of these ratings, by any company.

New website?
Saw it earlier today and like it.. In one of the pix we finally got to see that there WAS indeed the room at the foot of the front bed for those two vents we ordered on our under-construction E-21/maple.
No Canadian flag on the tire cover? Oh well, we kept the tire cover from our Casita when we sold it this past summer. ..the Tennessee flag shows where we hail from pretty well.
https://tirecovers.com/tennessee-flag-tire-cover.html
as does our front plate on our frontier: LOL

We kept the tire cover from our Wrangler when we sold it. Now it’s living on the Escape.

Plus the bright colors make it very visible. Hopefully getting the attention of other drivers.

As far as Escape’s new web site , I have no opinion because I know nothing about web design and frankly I have no interest .
If it was me I would be promoting Escape’s Canadian Heritage .

I have to agree with Steve on this one. Did I just say that?
As an American owner for the last 5 years, I really like that our Escape says: "Made in British Columbia" on the trailer and "Proudly made in Canada" on the tire cover.
Certain countries of origin add perceptions of value: Belgian chocolate, French wine, Swiss watches, Himalayan salt.
Exclusivity and Built to Order also have a certain value. I like that people are amazed that we would drive thousands of miles to get a special trailer at the factory in B.C.
Americans also assume that if an RV is good enough for the cold north, it should be even better in the states.
Hang on to that Canadian Heritage, even if the majority of sales are now in the U.S.

All I wanted to do was find out what brand it is and how much it would cost me to buy their new recessed flat 2 burner cook top and if it has piezo ignition.

That's right it's cold up thar. I think I still have at least a six weeks of shorts, T shirts and flip flops. Won't be getting worried about RV antifreeze until probably January.

Glenn In the first post after David proudly introduced the new web site you had changed the subject from the web site to the tire cover. Absolutely brilliant

Totally agree.
No one of us is ashamed of the house they grew up in. We all love to tell our history and are proud of it.
It’s like changing identity for Escape, with that tire cover

Hi Jack
Hmmm this is a touchy subject but I have to ask? Didn’t you tell me about spending a winter in Grand Forks North Dakota a few years ago. Did you just drain the vehicles between uses like my Dad did in the 30s or did you put something in the cooling system?
Love in the winter in the late 30’s for my parents went like this. My dad worked as a hired hand about 20 miles north of my mom’s home. Friday night, close petcocks on the 32 Chevy. Fill system with water and drive to moms home. Stay for dinner so shut off the car and drain water. After dinner, close petcocks and fill with water and drive to a dance 15 miles away. Drain water and go to the dance. Dance over, pump water into a bucket and fill cooling system and take mom home. Drain water and go in the house for a piece of pie. Fill water from yard pump with bucket and drive back home. Drain water, go to bed. Work all day Saturday on the farm as a hired man for $.50 and board. Head for mom’s home when chores were done and the horses were put away. Repeat throughout the winter. They were of hardy stock.
I’ve had it a lot easier my whole life.
Iowa Dave
