19' ordered
There was a hole in the owners map in our area so we thought we would fill it. After spending 6 fun years in our 17' Casita my wife and I placed our order for a 19' this week for a late August delivery. We have had several campers over the years but the Casita has been the most fun. We were lucky to have friends (Parker & Carol) in Ohio who or picking up their 19' next week and we have enjoyed watching theirs be built so much we decided life is short and we went for it. We are already having fun with Tammy & Kim choosing all our options. It has been a great help watching Parker & Carols be built and Parker has been very helpful answering my many many many questions . This forum has also been a great help and we look forward to many years with our new Escape family!!

Congratulations and welcome to the club! We just put our order in last week for a 19. Our completion date is late August and we are driving out to pick it up right after Labor Day. I agree, it is fun going through all the options and Tammy and Kim are great to work with.

Tom and Cheryl, it is fantastic that you have made the move to fill in that hole in the Owners Map.
Welcome to the site, and congrats on your purchase.

Y'all need to form a convoy some year, and come on out to the Escape Rally. It would form fearsome looking line of vehicles and trailers rolling down the highway.

Congratulations! I'm in WNC and also have an order in for a 19. Mine won't be completed til the end of the year, but I've already pretty much have it spec'd out. I find myself on the forum several times per day and emailing Kim every few days.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
Kevin we come to Asheville usually once a year. We also have a great fiberglass egg rally in Townsend, TN each April you should try to make. There were 65 campers and 3 were Escapes this year. It is a great time. Hopefully we will get to meet you some time.

Tom & Cheryl,
I actually did make that rally. I got to check out Jim's 19' and made the decision to move up from the 17b I had been considering. We got home purchased a tow vehicle and have rserved a build date.
PS Jim - thanks for showing us your Escape at the rally.

Hi: Kountrykamper... Yes we were very comfortable at Tremont Resort!!! Sorry we can't commit to next Apr. due to our winter stay in Fla.
It looks like all visiting Escape owners have left a lasting legacy though. Alf

We, too, bought an Escape after 6 great years in a Casita. No regrets and wish we'd made the move sooner.

Tom,
I moved the posts that were "off topic" and started another thread. I did not intend to change the subject of welcoming you to the Escape side of life!!
They can be found here
