Newbie to the Escape family!
Hi everyone! Just wanted to post a note saying that I have joined the ranks of proud owners of a bouncing baby Escape 5.0!
I have spent many hours here at this site reading nearly every post about these wonderful trailers, and flew up with my daughter (Rachael) to Seattle. We had a nice ride up to Chilliwack and had a tour of the factory, and to have a firsthand look at the trailers and all they offer. As a person with a very technical background, and an eye for detail, it pushed me right over the edge. I was highly impressed. Much pride goes into each of these trailers, and it is most evident in every one that I had the opportunity to view.
A special thank you to Kim, Tammy, and Reace for their patience and kindness during our visit (I asked no less than a trillion questions, and never got that deer in the headlight look!)... Oh and also Ben the greater was a gem!
I have learned much from all of you and your posts. Thanks to each and every one of you. What a wonderful resource this is.
We live Newnan Georgia and will be traveling down to the Gulf Coast, and the Blue Ridge Mountains with our new rolling condo whenever time permits! Our delivery date seems like a million years away, but it will pass quickly I am sure.
Maybe we will cross paths someday! Happy trails to all of you!
Todd and Kimberly Day

That's determination to fly from Georgia to view an Escape at the factory! Good for you. While the time may seem slow before delivery you'll have many, many moons afterward to make memories that will last a lifetime.
BTW: Welcome to the Escape Forum, lots of good people and helpful information to be found within the forum pages.

Thank you Donna! I have enjoyed reading your posts!
Adrian, that was partly why we went up. I couldnt make up my mind, but the privacy of the upper deck and the head room did it for me. I am 6 foot tall and never bumped my head (on either of them) but had more head room on the 5th.
Thanks to the both of you!

Hi: itoddday... Welcome to the Escape family!!! Our Escape Hatch will be in Ft. Myers Beach Florida for the winter so drop by if you're down along the Gulf Coast. We also enjoy the headroom even though we're not 6'ers. Alf

Hi itoddday... We were booking several St. Pks. but managed to snag a lot at Oyster Bay RV. Pk. on Main St. Ft Myers Beach for Feb-March. Jan. we will be at The Tropical Sands Interval Condo on Estero Blvd for a few weeks. It's a tough lifestyle but I have to try it!!!
This will be my first attempt at retirement!!! Alf
