Backcountry use of trailer

I am considering purchasing a 17 foot escape. Do a lot of backcountry roads and off the grid camping. Will this trailer handle this type of use? Thinking about driving to Alaska as well next year. Has anyone done this with this trailer? Also, thinking I may need to buy a tacoma truck or four runner to handle trailer. What do you recommend? I live in Colorado. Thanks for any advise you may offer me.

There have been many discussions on these topics. Use the search tool and you should find a bunch of info. Here’s one to get you started: Escape Durability and Off-Road Capability

Be sure to get at least one installed solar panel.

My 19 has been to Alaska and Baja as well as many other areas with rough roads.

I wouldn't have taken any other type of trailer, except one with a fiberglass shell, on those roads as that would have very likely started to loosen up joints and result in leaks.

After all's said and done, my trailer shows no effects of its' travels.
