Hello from Zionsville, IN
We just made the deposit on a 21C. This will be our first travel trailer. We've had a few folding trailers and currently have a Roadtrek Adventurous RS.
We're looking forward having an Escape!

Interesting transition you're making, from what looks like a fairly high-end camper van, the Roadtrek Adventurous RS:
https://www.roadtrek.com/wp-content/...2019-Web-1.pdf
to an Escape 21C, an excellent tow-behind trailer, but surely a different experience from the Roadtrek. I expect you're looking for a little more space (and storage), but if you'd care to elaborate, we'd be interested. I've toyed with the thought of going the other direction some day, if I get weary of trailering.

Sorry for my late response, we found an almost new 2021 21C and purchased it!
The Roadtrek is a great "touring" van but our style of camping had changed. We like to stay a few days and tour from there. Breaking camp daily for sightseeing or running an errand gets old...quickly. We plan to spend extended time south next winter and it will be nice to have our truck to get around.
We haven't sold the Roadtrek yet!

That's exactly why we have stuck with trailering: having to put everything away to just "go into town" is a pain. If we're not touring, but just staying overnight, I try to get level enough that I don't have to unhitch.
Also our Escape trailer has a lot more room inside than the class Bs that I've seen.

What is your lead time? We are thinkin of ordering a 21C or a 23. The narrow bed on the 21C is a little bit of a concern for me, not my wife.

End of June. We were lucky to find a used 2021 21C with about every option, picked it up in Maryland last week.
