Introducing Us to Escape

Greetings,

We are a 70-ish couple looking forward to picking up our 17B in Sumas towards the end of August. We are currently in the whiplash phase- alternating between excitement watching our trailer being built and the "What have we done" reality of it all.

We are veteran RVers, but have traveled in medium sized Class C motorhomes for the last 30 years. We have not pulled a trailer since we graduated from a pop-up tent trailer in the late 1980's.

We have a lot of questions related to our new Escape and look forward to getting a lot of good advice on this forum. I will post our questions individually to keep the discussions straight forward.

Howdy— I'd be interested to hear why you downsized from a "medium sized Class C" motorhome to a 17' Escape trailer. I think the majority of us here have gone the other way over time, up-sizing rather than down.
