Ok, I think I know where you're headed - a scotch drinkers scotch. For the money, the Laphroaigs are hard to beat.

You know it!

While Islay offerings are among my favourite, I do like lots of Highland offerings too. Speyside as well. Variety is key for me, thus the multiple bottles in my stash.

You and me both! I drove by there the last time I was in the Islay region, bit I didn't have time to stop.

You wish..... I wish too, then maybe I could tap into it a wee bit.

The Bruichladdich Laddie Classic is the only one I have tried, and it was a friends bottle. Very nice though.

Being a certified peat freak, I picked up a bottle of Bruichladdich Octomore, Edition 01.1, 131ppm phenol content. Quite a mouthful! Keeping with the peat monsters, I also bought an Ardbeg Supernova, in excess of 100ppm... ahhh peat!!!

Oh man, I am having to wipe the drool off my keyboard.

I have never tried either of those offerings, but I do have a bottle of Uigeadail, and generally keep one on hand. A great value for a classy whiskey.

You might have a few questions. Lots of people here to answer them. Or not.. No telling what you will get but beverages are likely to come into it. I'll take root beer myself.
