We bit the bullet!
Those exchange rates are too good to let slip. Our 21 is now on order with a p/u date of July 8, 2016! Now for the many decisions regarding what we need, what we want, what we can afford, etc. We've been lurking on this website, so we know there is a lot of advice out there. We hope our time spent tent camping and sailing will help us with those decisions. Looking forward to next summer.

Welcome Mary,
Yes, those rates are very tempting, but of course hurts current US resale values.

A bit depends on luck. We had the misfortune on one stretch to hit a couple of spots where it looked like someone had dumped a 5 gallon bucket of oil on the road. The little tar splatters not only covered the wheel wells etc. but both the front and, surprisingly, the rear of the trailer. It cleaned up fine but it was a lot of work.
We saw a lot of RVs, especially larger ones, had put a clear vinyl material over their fronts. Now I know why.
On the 19 the vinyl guards at the front were very exposed and were tar splattered. They haven't cleaned up well, the tar stained them.
So, anything you can do to protect the trailer could prevent lots of cleanup later.
Ron

I had flies protecting BlackJack last year, it seems I got behind a manure spreader and when I stopped for gas, the entire front was covered with flies.
I asked the cg and got permission that night to hose it off.

Congratulations, Mary! All of the little decisions along the way between ordering and pick-up is the fun part = being able to make it all 'just for you'! How exciting!

Welcome Mary. You'll find a bunch of helpful folks here to answer any questions you may have. If you haven't done so already, practice using the search feature as well. Tons of threads that cover pretty much everything.

Hi Mary. Welcome to the forum. I see you chose a 21 and Reace and Tammy sure got themselves another winner when they added it to the line up. My regular advice is to keep that build sheet in mind as time flies, and who knows how much more complicated it is going to be a year from now. Loren
