Huh, I'm sure you've followed the story and disgust among many prior Escape owners after learning of this policy put in place around 2017. I has a lot to do with the opinion of the company honchos- not the line people of course.

I would never buy a new one from the current owners.

The company wasn't sold until mid 2018 and the Canadian/US pricing happened soon after that. I owned a 2017 19 foot from the original owners and Im totally happy with my 2021 21C from the current owners. And yes if I wanted another Escape I'd buy again... but I'm done loving my 21C

So I was off a year. I said 'around" 2017; doesn't matter. I love my 21 too, yet knowing of all the money based decisions made by KV directed Mgmt. @ ETI makes me not want to do business with them. My choice; glad you like your 21.

So I do agree with some of your concerns/objections to the new ownership. Not happy on how they handled or didn't the exploding cooktops too many owners got hurt.
People looking at any rv purchase really need to decide by looking at the quality, the price and what they can afford. Right now and most likely not for much longer it's a sellers market and it's what the market will bare. And yes I miss the R and T days they produced trailers with love and customer service was outstanding miss that. Wishing you many happy trips and would love to meet you guys some time.
