Florida registration

A question for Florida escape owners. Are there any issues with registering in Florida with a pick up in Sumas, Washington? Our plans are to pick up our 21C on May 11, spend a couple of weeks exploring Washington then attend the rally in Osoyoos. We’re trying to get ahead of any issues we my have before our visit with FDOT. THANKS

I brought the paperwork I received from Escape to my county tax office, paid the sales tax and license fee, then got my license plate. I took it with me to Chilliwack and put it on the trailer, either there or in Sumas, I forgot. I spent the next two months traveling in the U.S. before coming home.

We had no issues performing this process twice(a 19 then 21C). You must pay in full to Escape Industries then Escape will send you a packet with Bill of Sale and other required information on your 21C. Visit your County office and pay Florida sales tax, title and tag registration fees. You will receive your tag, title and registration. That is it.

Bay View State Park is close by and excellent location to complete setting up your camper needs. Enjoy

Thanks Mike and Margot. Florida appears to have a much simpler process than other states that have been reported on here.

We pick up our new 2022 E19 on Tuesday 5/24 am and then plan on driving to Osoyoos for the rally, about a 4 hour drive. I believe it maybe our 6th time, all but one with different Escapes.

Jim, We look forward to meeting you and all of the other Escpees. We are quite excited that our build date moved up so that we can attend Osoyoos. Hopefully this will be our first of many rallies. Ed
