12v outlets

Almost crunch time on build sheet. Wife thinks we need more 12v outlets, I ask why ?

You will have a better idea of where you need them after you use the trailer a bit. They are not too difficult to add, although getting to the other end of the trailer from the WFCO power distribution station can be challenging.

I has Escape add a few that I never use, and added 7 since I purchased the trailer (although 5 of the 7 are a mix of 12V & USB receptacles in a panel I added inside the upper driver's side rear storage compartment where all my electronic devices live & charge).

I would add 'em now if it doesn't cost too much... we seem to have more and more "devices" to charge and power all the time. I plan on adding some to my camper soon.

An easy way would be to replace a few light fixtures with ones that include a USB port or two. (Of course, I never thought of doing this but I just looked and they do exist.) No additional wiring needed.

This is one thing I forgot to add to the build.

I wish I had a 12V near the bed in my 19 for a 12V plug in fan.

I use one to power my fantastic fan on the picnic table. Even on low it keeps mosquitoes at bay. Added a 12V outlet next to the rear awning mount. https://www.amazon.com/PACK-SPARKING...s%2C280&sr=8-4

Hi Charlie, I have Ryobi powered tools and use a Ryobi fan, but I am inquisitive as to what fan you are referring to as a "fantastic fan on the picnic table" .

I would put both 12v and usb in both the sleeping area and the dinette. I wish I would have done that. Even one more 120v at the dinette. Just for convenience.

I use portable power stations for it now. No biggie.

I added several 12 volt outlets without USB’s. I have many usb plug-in I can push in if needed. Saved me 20.00 each on build sheet.
