Getting ready to head south this week. 21ne has been winterized. Thinking of water jugs in case we need bathroom. Will need furnace for 2-3 nights. Any thing else. It's single digits here today.

Depending on how long you will be in cold weather you may want to flush with RV antifreeze instead of water. The issue isn’t the internal tank but water sitting outside in the piping leg out to the dump valve. Cheap insurance.

Be sure your propane tanks are full and take a few extra blankets just in case.

Until we get to where the daily temps will be above 40 F we flush with 100% RV antifreeze. Usually that's Meade State Park in southwest Kansas.
As long as our temps are above freezing during the day we don't worry about winterizing (one night a 10 F).
We don't use the grey water tank until we get to Texas or southern New Mexico. Terry washes dishes in a plastic bowl and throws the wash water in an appropriate place, usually a drop toilet.
What 2021 camper do you have? Your trailer info just says 2021. You should update your information to reflect your trailer choice .
Enjoy,

The last time we went south we had winterized the trailer a month before and blew out the water lines and used anti freeze in the traps. When we got to Florida we then dewinterized. Before we came back we reversed the process. It worked well

I second this...just recently I tried to dump my tanks in cold weather, the trailer was not winterized yet as I was using it in an RV park, but both the black and grey were frozen solid on the exposed parts. I have the spray foam insulation and had the tank heaters on, and it still froze. I had to use a propane heater and a heat gun to get them unstuck enough to dump! Lesson learned...

That would be a bummer. Blew out water lines, dropped all 3 tanks. rv antifreeze in both traps. We have strong bladders, could just use rest stops for deposits. Wichita Cosco for first sleep. Turn on gas and start furnace. Dewinterize when we get to rv park in Aransas Pass. Looks good on paper.

Just in case, had a little electric space heater on in there last night. Minus-eleven degrees over night here, off I-40 here in central NM, -about 30 miles east of ABQ. No night for old men.

Do you know what temperature the little heater kept inside?
