Lithium Charging with a PD4655L

so I ran my 412AH of Lithuum batts down to like 50%.... then plugged in the trailer. following are charge curves from the SmartShunt, showing both the full recharge cycle, and the last 30 minutes or so with the balance cycles done by the batteries internal BMS

first set shows charge state (%) vs voltage, 2nd set shows amerage vs voltage.

Just to avoid term confusion with the Equalization stage when describing lead acid batteries, you might use the term balancing for the final part of lithium charging. Some charging sources use as high as 15V for the equalization stage which would be too much for lithium. If your converter or solar controller has an equalization stage, it should be turned off for lithium.

I think it's very interesting and that Victron monitor sure does present nice data.

Looks like it’s working perfectly. It did a cell balancing once after full charge, as I see it.
