Water Pressure Regulator

I had a water pressure problem (down to a trickle) with my old Holiday Rambler and discovered the regulator itself was bad. It wasn't but a year old as I used the one I got from ETI in my delivery package.

I don't connect city water to my Escape so didn't need the regulator there.

I had inserted the device between my water hose and the filter so I think it was maybe acting as somewhat of a filter itself and got fouled up.

I'm putting the new one between the filter and the trailer. I can't remember having this problem before.

Anyone else have this problem in the past?

FWIW the one I got from ETI in the package and it didn't work at all. We were at the rally and I took it Reace and explained that I couldn't get water at all with it on and plenty of water without it. He simply went over to the sales stuff and handed me a new one saying, that he had seen the problem you had of little water pressure but that this was the first of no water at all. He also stated that they have been known to fail during use and it had happened to him.

Good to know. We've never had any trouble with sediment in our water here. Our well area is over 100 years old.
