We went to Baja last year. Will be in Az for December this this year.
If you don’t already have it, there is a very fun, fact-filled guide book to Baja called The Baja Adventure Book. It’s a bit dated, but full of fun reading and cool spots to visit. Put out by Wilderness Press.

I'm making a slow crawl to Quartzsite, leaving upstate NY on October 23, and arriving in the Q around December 15th. Will be staying at the LaPosa West LTVA until the fiberglass rally at Dome Rock in February, then to lake Havasu City for the week of fireworks after the rally.

Will be in Quartzite, but not until the end of February and the beginning of March.

Quartzite

Hi,
I’m scheduled to pick up my trailer In Sumas on 1/19/23. I will be heading to Quartzite but don’t have a specific date of arrival. I will meander down the coast and tentatively plan on staying at Quartzite for 1-2 weeks. I will then travel East with reservations at state and COE campgrounds along the way ending up in Florida the 1st week in March. Looking forward to the adventure and getting acquainted with the Escape.

I plan to attend the Quartzfest ham radio gathering at Quartzsite in late January 2023. Then I'll stick around for the fiberglass egg gathering in early February.

Right now I'm in Maine.

we will be heading down to Imperial Dam LTV the last part of November. We will stay down in that area and up to Lake Havasu until the rally in February at Dome Rock. Hope to see everyone there.

Yes, we are headed to the Mexican mainland early to mid Nov. Puerto Vallerta area again with a side trip to Ajijic somewhere between Dec and Mar to visit friends. Waiting for hurricane season to end, normally Nov 1 but there have been late season hurricanes to hit Baja and the southern coast.

While it is no longer an organized rally, the "official" dates are February 6 - 12th, although many come early & stay late.

We hope to be in the warm again this year, though our arrival dates are unknown.
Usually we catch part of the big RV tent show, then ramble around and do the rally at Dome rock

Hope to see many folks there again this year

Planning an Escape trip to Tucson, AZ next month. A friend just told me about Boneyard Vista RV Park --adjacent to -or part of- the Davis Montham AFB just outside Tucson, Arizona. Open probably to veterans/govt employees I think, but not sure. Any vets ever stayed there?

According the Ultimate Campgrounds there is a DoD campground at Davis Mantham. It is Agave something, not Boneyard. On the north end of Davis Montham is a commercial campground that is less expensive than the DoD.

We might make it to Quartzite this year. We do New Year's in Florida with my soon to be 94 year old mother, her birthday is January 1. We have reservations for Baja Honda in March. Between those two we will be meandering west from Florida.

Fox Hunt, I started a thread a while back asking same question as we are also thinking of going to Baja after the egg rally in February and got quite a few interested responses; link is below:
