I purchased 2 sets of turn off valves since I have port and starboard showers. Very easy to install. just need a warm day and better health......once installed it will be east to turn off inside and open exterior to drain.

what valves did you get? My first thought was to get the kind they use on the water tank bypass. Then after looking at the shower hookup its has a flex hose similar to the one used on home toilets. I thinking they may make a valve that could be just screwed on between the pex and flexible supply hose. . This would avoid crimping the peks line. witch you need a tool to do I believe.

Wow, what an experience! Glad you made it through with possibly little or no damage! Thanks for sharing your story. Looking forward to seeing you in September if not sooner.
