Tips please: Northern NY to mid Atlantic coast

I am considering taking a 10 day camping trip in mid April to somewhere warmer.

I'm starting from Brockville ON which is near the top of the I-81 and hoping to get as far south as possible. I want a leisurely trip and will be spending a few days at most spots.

My current thoughts are Frances Slocum State Park (Wilkes-Barre PA) (1 night), then Pocomoke River on the Delmarva (2 nights), and Goose Creek State Park on the Pamlico River (3 nights). Heading north, I'm thinking of Bull Run south of Washington DC for 3 nights to explore DC, and then home with another 1-night stop at Frances Slocum.

I've used the RV Life trip wizard but haven't stayed at any of these campgrounds.

I'll check the weather before booking at the last minute, because I know it can be unpredictable. In Brockville, it was 60 degrees F yesterday and 12 today.

Do the very helpful people on this forum have any suggestions or comments for the route and possible other campgrounds to stay at and things to see? My target is 10 days, but I could spend a few days more to get further south.

Thank you!!
