We decided the 19 was a little too heavy for.our tow vehicle, a 2020 Honda Ridgeline with a 5000 lb. max towing rating. Our 17B dry weight was listed at just under 2700 lbs., but was over 3100 lbs. with options we ordered and 3500 lbs. with our stuff and a full water tank. We are happy with the 17B. It works for the 2 of us and our 70 lb. greyhound..
Just wanted to add another “thumbs up” for the ability to change floor plans. We recently received an e-mail from Escape to begin our build sheet process for a May 2022 completion date. We asked what impact there would be if we changed from a 21NE to either the 21C or 19, and they said there would be no impact at all. We have a personal video tour set up with Harrison for next week to help us pin down our decision (something we could have, and should have done a while ago ).
I have owned 4 Escapes with #5 on order. E19 then E21 then back to E19 and then E21 and now guess what......E19 on order.....I should probably buy one of each until I make up my mind......
What do you like most with an E19 and an E21? I’m curious why you have one, then switch back to the other.
Congrats on that- have had our 21C for 7 years after looking at a 19 first and have zero regrets. Largest bathroom & counter space of any Escape trailer.
These elements were 2 of the nig reasons I made the switch.
Now…to decide on Escape, or another TC (selling my current TC)…

Just went from a 21NE to a 21C due to black tank capacity (or lack thereof) and storage.
Nothing mentioned by ETI on $$$ regarding such. Though the shell is the same.
