Raise Dinette?

The reason I ask is our Scamp dinette is raised. Is this something I need to order on our build? My wife is 5' 1" Are the windows high?

Thanks Ken

Yes the windows are high in a 19 to allow the bunk option to be mounted below.

When we got our E19 the first thing my wife, @ 5'4", noted was the dinette seating was too low. She hated the sailboat where she needed to stand on the settee to look out portlights. I followed Eggscapes lead and raised ours 5 1/2". Now a great view plus gaining more storage, front magazine compartment and a bonus shoe tray underneath. Well worth the mod.

Are the windows around the dinette just as high with the 5.0?

Just FYI, using the self-guided ETI virtual tours to compare the gap between top-of-cushion and bottom-of-window is hugely informative.

Those give a sort of warped visual, but not the measurements.

You would think that Escape would readily have those measurements as I would think that question has been asked many times before. Have you asked them?
