Yes Dave we're ahead of the weather, arrived here in KS early this pm, and now have thunderstorms and warm, was 20C when we arrived, much better than at home where they may be getting up to 15cm of snow. Hate to disappoint you but we zipped through Iowa without stopping, from Sioux Falls to St. Joseph before we stopped for a bite.

I did quite a few NPS jobs in Kansas including Brown versus Board nhs, Fort Scott, Fort Larned historical sites. Also Nicodemus and TallGrass Prairie. All lovely and interesting sites.
