Oliver closure

Received this in an email from Oliver:
Effective April 1 the manufacturing facility will be closed to employees and the public for one month resuming production May 4th. Oliver Travel Trailers Sales and Service offices will be closed to the public effective April 1 but will be providing support to our existing and potential customers through team members that are working remotely.

We've been very lucky here in BC with a relatively small amount of cases based on our population due I part I think to a very astute Provincial Health Officer who has lots of past experience involving SARS, Ebola and Polio pandemics.

But, I would imagine that it's probably only a matter of time as their parts sources start to dry up. I would imagine trucking firms are prioritizing moving more essential goods and services in the immediate future.

Unless they meet the Tennessee essential business criteria, they have to close until at least April 14...

With Scamp , Casita and Oliver being located in smaller rural communities their affect on the local economy may be quite significant.
Since this thread is about Oliver’s shutdown , I will end my comments right here and now .
