Re: Escape Calendar
Thanks Tammy and Reace!
The calendar arrived yesterday (or as they say in the South, "yestiddy"). It's a GREAT calendar and only serves to whet our appetites! The only question I have is why is there no giant red circle around September 16th?

Re: Escape Calendar
OK, OK, OK.....
I finally received the envelopes and second order of calendars. Last night I got the remaining calendars into the envelopes and ready to go.
And because all of you are soooo special, yes even the Cheesehead rebellion today I will brave the line-up at the post office and get them in the mail.
Unfortunately, you will not receive them before Christmas.
Season's Greetings Everyone,
From Tammy and Reace

Re: Escape Calendar
Hi Cheryl,
Yours was in the first batch of calendars sent out! ....I have another Escape owner in CA who also didn't receive their calendar so I included him in yesterdays. I think maybe someone at the post office must be reading this forum and doesn't want to ask me for one. Or else you are going to receive in about two years time as it was redirected to another state.
I will get another one all ready for you and ship it on Monday.
Season's Greetings,
Tammy
PS Because E.T is the only one from the Cheese head rebellion coming to pick up his trailer, I hope he is going to bring me a slice of cheese to go with the wine I received yesterday. LOL

Re: Escape Calendar
The new favorite beer of Wisconsin is from New Glarus Brewing Company, a small craft brewery in swiss cheese country. I believe their best seller and my favorite is Spotted Cow. Unfortunately the brew is only available in Wisconsin.
I recall a story from a brewery tour at New Glarus. Someone was making a comparison to Miller Brewing in Milwaukee, now Miller Cours. The Milwaukee brewery is huge. Anyway the joke was that Miller spills more beer in a day than New Glarus brews.

Re: Escape Calendar
If Tammy & Reace created a calendar-monster, it's a cute and engaging monster. The only problem we see with it is frustration from not being able to jump into our "Guppy" right now and take off somewhere. The calendar is fantastic. We can hardly wait for New Year's Day so as to have an excuse to open it up and start admiring the trailers, and the pictures, all over again.
Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year everyone! By the way, we observe the Twelve Days of Christmas, which end with another Christmas dinner on January 6 (Feast of the Epiphany in the Anglican calendar, -- Episcopal calendar, if you're an American) and gifts from the Three Kings. This is a habit we recommend to everybody -- it's an excuse to leave your tree up, to eat more, and to visit more with famiy and friends. It works really when when you're retired, though we've been doing it for at least twenty years, and the kids (who are now grown -- 23, 26, 30, 31) have come to expect it. Think of all the craft beers a person could sample over the twelve days!
"On the First Day of Christmas, my true love gave to me -- a new Escape 17A" maybe amongst ourselves we could come up with an Escape "Twelve Days of Christmas!" Maybe it could end up with something like twelve trout a sizzling, or twelve solar panels a-charging, or? We don't want twelve gallons of waste water overflowing! Ideas, anybody?

Re: Escape Calendar
My personal favorite name of the various New Glarius brews is Naked. And to think I was going to bring Tammy and Reace some of my homebrews until the wine comment! LOL :P

How about something roadtrip-related, like; "Twelve trailers towing..."
Have a blessed Christmas everyone.
Love;

Re: Escape Calendar
Yes, Spotted Cow is nice. So are several brews from the Capital Brewery in Middleton! I don't know what wine is, either...
