Escape just announced another guaranteed completion date pull in
If your current date is summer to fall 2021 they are sending out emails with a new guaranteed
completion date. I’m hoping this will also move in my May 2022 date also

If the timing works out between me snow-birding in my 19 in Arizona and my grandson graduating from high school I just might be there this year.

when do you expect ETI to notify you of second GCD? Didn't they say anyone with a summer 2021 GCD wouldn't change?
I want to see the new prices for 2022... They said they would be out by end of June 2021.. I have a March GCD now. I'm not real hopeful to get into 2021..

They are sending out emails with in the next two weeks. Karl has always said anyone August 2021 and closer will not change so I’m thinking Sept thru Dec will move up. In the last Q&A Escape said they expected around a 5 percent increase for 2022 but where still working the numbers.

I received an email yesterday offering me a new date in August 2021. I passed on it and will keep my September 2021 date. That opens up a spot for someone else. You're welcome!

FYI for those of us waiting in line for our Escape trailers, the “other forum” posted news that all slots are now filled for 2021 builds. The good news is that Escape is organizing another round of completion date revisions (hooray!). They said emails providing the new dates will be going out within the next two weeks.

Wow that is a huge move up. I was guessing it would be 2 months, not almost 7 months!

Unfortunately, I think us 5.0TA folks are not benefitting from schedules moving up.

I moved up by 6.5mos on the last GCD revision. We'll see what happens this time around.

The slots in nov and dec 2021 at 2022 pricing that is where they couldn’t pull in any 5th wheels. These next pulls ins should more you in also. If you don’t receive an email from them ask why not. I wasn't receiving the emails to find out they had my email address wrong in their system.

Ok, I'm going to give them some more time. I hate bugging them. Don't want the trailer builder's version of spitting in my soup...

The new management seems to be subscribing to the philosophy "under promise and over deliver". Rather than these games with completion dates I would think most buyers would prefer to be put on a realistic schedule and kept there to help with their overall planning. Even after all the discussion I still do not understand the rationale for inventory slots when Escape has a line of customers to build trailers for.

Over promising and under-delivering is the worst. I'd have to assume that they have more demand for their trailers than the skilled people needed to make them.

Very true. Their protracted build schedule is part of their customer expectation management.

Not to sound like a corporate shill for Escape, but the completion date revisions are the result of on-going efforts to ramp up production. I really don’t think they’re playing games here, just trying to make more trailers to make more money while demand is in the stratosphere. Let’s hope they don’t lose the bubble on build quality in the process.
