Let’s keep “the government” and politics off this forum please.

We are all feeling pain so let’s keep things on a more positive note here. There are other forums out for those discussions.

It's been a week now, and still no sign of a refund to my card account. I just wrote to ETI to ask how long it's supposed to take. Maybe they need my money on loan a little longer...
Sorry Mike.

I don't recall exactly how long it took to get the refund, but i think it was somewhere around 10 days maybe.

The accounting department at Escape did send an email confirmation and then the refund hit my card shortly afterwards.

When I cancelled, I both called and emailed. I got an email back in a couple days saying my order was cancelled. I’m about 7 or so days ulinsaw the SL deposit appear in my account. If it goes past 10 working days, I’d give them a call.

Maybe this is all for the best, I’ve spent a crazy amount of money to get my camper going to my own satisfaction. This camper thing may have been a stressful situation for you down the line.
Someone once said you have to be able to walk away from a deal…

Look for other ways to win, they are out there-

Good news, my email inquiry to ETI might have hastened things. I just received a notice of refund with an apology for the delay. I'm sure it will hit the account in due time.

As I recall, ETI was prompt at responding to my cancellation by email; don't recall how long it took to land in my CC account—it was on the next statement.

Fortunately, we were lucky enough to get our handsome 2019 E21C, which enabled us to cancel without regret. I figured an Escape in the hand is worth more than one in the distant future. I might have configured a new one a little differently, but not much, and certainly not enough to wait. We actually got the benefit of original owner Shawn's expertise and good taste.

Which is to say, if after cancelling you still want an Escape, there seem to be more 'pre-owned' ones available than there were last winter. I see five (!) on the Recent Discussions list right now.
