Question Alternatives to See Level II?

Our See Level II crapped out after the first week on the road, and I've heard it's not a great system. Escape still hasn't responded to my questions on how to fixt it, so I'm hoping to find something more reliable.

Anyone using a better system? Anyone seen this: Mopeka Pro Check Water Sensor?

I use a 6" torpedo level and find it works way better than the electronic one I had set up that always needed some fine tuning. I was trying to go beyond my normal and get techy, but that failed. The torpedo level has never failed. Besides, with my 5.0TA the magnetic torpedo level is\ their on the pin frame right beside the leveling jack controls.

Just an opinion from the "why not keep it simple" side of town.

For what it's worth, I've had two failed sensors on my SeeLevel II within the first year of owning my 17B. I suspect it has to do with the way ETI installs them, using a thick tape material to cover and seal the sensors. The failures were after driving in rainy conditions and I think the circuit boards of the sensors were compromised by water getting in. I dealt directly with the folks at Garnet Instruments instead of ETI and they were very good about sending new sensors. They were very easy to install and per instructions, I sealed them with 3M spray coating. No issues since.

Jim, how do you get a "torpedo level" to tell you tank levels?

IanC, thanks, I will try contacting them.
