Bathroom Cabinet

Just got our 21C about two weeks ago and getting to know it in the north woods of Wisconsin. Interested to know what others have done to better secure/protect items in the medicine cabinet during travels. Any input much appreciated.

I put things in a narrow plastic tray found at the Dollar store and then use the refrigerator spring loaded bars to keep them inside the cabinet. Never had then come out yet.

We've used small plastic trays also but had them tumble out. My wife added a clear plastic "L" shape piece and that keeps everything intact after going down a bumpy road.

Kind of hard to see in these pics, but I cut strips of thin clear plexiglass and fastened across the bottom of each opening with double stick tape. Others have put small eye hooks in the sides and used elastic bands or small bungees to do the same thing.

I pop riveted a piece of clear plastic household corner protector to the front of each shelf. A better method would probably be to use a bit of VHB tape.

This was my own recessed medicine cabinet but I drilled small holes and bent the ends of small bungee cords 90 degrees and inserted them.

I used a combination of a rod and a readily available aluminum edging that also supports the leading edge of the shelf.

You can read how I did it here in this link:
